Welcome Jason Sundar!!!!

Today started with non-stop phone calls and emails - pretty much the usual morning. I had to get away for a work out to clear my mind. I was supposed to keep my phone off, but of course I had left it on, and I could see my BlackBerry vibrating from the corner of my eye. During my work out, I was sneaking to the washroom making calls and returning emails. Jemal, my trainer wasn't impressed that I was trying to organize a give away for my friend's benefit fashion show - my publicist, Tina Baird, had thought we had already sent a package but we hadn't. I had received a call from their rep that morning requesting one, the mix up was that we were sponsoring two separate benefits for the same cause. I know that seems simple but when you are coordinating staff to send packages, logos etc... things can get confusing! Needless to say I got about 30 min of cardio in and paid for an 1hr session aggggh. Then I was off to meet my new VP of Corporate finance, Jason Sundar, this meeting was to discuss the future of Open Sundaes and taking the company public through the IPO in early 09. I asked my partner, Jason Dussault (JD), to meets us for lunch as well because I don't really understand the market side of things yet. All I can say is wow, what a machine this guy is, reminds me alot of JD. I'm very fortunate to have Jason Sundar as a new addition on my team. I have to thank JD for bringing him on board. The three of us sat down for a yummy sushi lunch, this wasn't a usual lunch since we were all in a rush to get to our next meetings. There was a strict layout of topics to discuss - Jason D and Jason S started talking, and most of it I couldn't quite understand, so my Jason would act as an interpreter to explain what Sundar was saying. These two have worked together for years on many successful projects, so I am glad I have them both on my team. These two could hold business seminars and collect revenue, their ideas together were quite fascinating and brilliant to listen to. I'm glad I'm learning from the best.
Welcome aboard Jason Sundar!
